This section has a vary straight forward name, and before you start any weight loss program, you should always consult with your doctor. Losing weight is not easy, and our formula is not a miracle, but it will guide you in the correct path to losing weight. However, like we said before, determination and will power are what you will need, without it, this cannot work. Everybody is different so it's hard to tell you how fast you will lose weight, but if you follow these steps, be extremely patient, and keep your mind in focus, you will reward yourself for life.






Always remember that there will be times where you will want to give up and go back to your old life. Like we said, losing weight is not easy, but you have to be a strong person and believe in yourself. Each day will get easier and easier as long as you commit, until the day where you cant even notice you are on a diet, and you look and feel better than you ever have.



                              Commitment...

The first step before starting is to make sure you want to do this. Ask yourself:

"I'm I ready to make a commitment to lose weight?"

"I'm I ready to start a new chapter in my life? and give up all my comfort foods?"

"Do I want to have full control of my life?"



If you answered NO to any of the above questions, you will not be successful in this diet, however, if you said YES to all, congratulations, you have made your first decision to lose weight the correct way.




                                 Declutter...

Clean out your fridge and pantry, time to get rid of all the crap in your kitchen. Don't panic in this step, you will have better tasting food that is actually good for you. You can even drink beer! we are not taking your life away, just giving it an upgrade to a better you. Keep all fruits and vegetables that are raw (if you have any!). Foods to get rid of are: Frozen foods (TV dinners, vegetables with sauces, ice cream, etc.), Chips, any type of Candy, packaged meats such as bacon, bologna and sliced beef, processed cheese, butter, basically everything that is fatting and bad for you. You will be starting a new diet that actually offers weight loss and healthy fats with every bite you take.




                          Healthy Food...

Time to go grocery shopping! for some of you, you will probably be buying and eating foods you have never eaten before, however you did answer YES to "I'm I ready to make a commitment to lose weight?" so you will make every effort to try and love these foods. The diet we aim for is the mediterranean diet, as it offers the best health benefits in world. Italy has the second longest lived people in the world and Spain is third. You can buy any type of raw fruit or vegetable that you want (keeping potatoes to a minimum). Buy whole wheat pastas, whole wheat sandwich bread, low-fat yogurts, high fiber cereals, almonds, walnuts, canned black and white beans, olive oil, mustard, frozen fish (Tilapia, Salmon, Cod, Halibut, Tuna, or Orange Ruffy), skinless chicken breast, frozen uncooked shrimp and cocktail shrimp, eggs, peanut butter, jelly, orange juice, rice milk, olives, plenty of water, and you can even buy some light beer, such as: Becks Light, Amstel Light, Michelob Ultra and Heineken Light. You can use sea salt, pepper, and any kind of spice. In the recipes section we will give you some yummy recipes to put all these ingredients to work.




                              Exercise...

Time to commit to exercise, like we stated before, we are not going to make you run 10 miles a day or sign up to the gym, however you do have to commit at least (1) hour a day to this very important step. Now don't say "I don't have an hour!" drop the TV and you will find out just how much extra time you will have in your life. This step is crucial to losing weight and keeping it off. You have to understand that exercising is not painful, it actually relaxes you and relieves stress, and when you exercise, you rejuvenate your mind so you can actually be more productive in your day and make better decisions. What we are doing is starting a new routine in your life, you are dropping your old routines and starting new ones, within 1 month you will be exercising 1 hour a day without even thinking about it. In the next section we will give you great exercise plans for you to get started.




                             Patience...

Understanding that you will not lose your weight in 1 week. It has been confirmed by many doctors that losing weight fast is extremely dangerous to your body, as well losing and gaining weight constantly. It can take several months to get to your ideal healthy weight, depending on how much you weigh. It also matters how much you exercise, (1) hour is the minimum, if you can make it (1 1/2) hours, it makes your losing time shorter, but if all you can commit is (1) hour, you should be proud of yourself.




                         Positive Mind Set...

Don't make your diet so painful that you will give up, make it fun, think only about the positives and what you future will be like. Remember that you want change because you were unhappy with your weight and life, and that this change means the beginning of your new healthy life.
